Moorland Waders
In the last period of drought I was able to film the two wading birds that typify the high Pennines – the Dunlin and the Golden Plover. Both breed on the high Pennine tops and while some have failed through the drought and moorland fires all now is back to normal with enough food available for their young.

Award-Winning Photography
Alongside filmmaking, Gordon has earned recognition in still photography competitions with the BBC, RSPB, Scottish Wildlife, and the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club — using his trusted Pentax equipment. One of his proudest achievements was seeing ten minutes of his work broadcast by Granada Television — a milestone in a lifetime dedicated to wildlife storytelling.
