The reason I am writing this blog
September 8th, 2007 Posted in General
I have been interested in wildlife, especially birds, since I was 4 years old, when I was shown the contents of a Dunnock’s nest by my father. As I grew older I maintained a diary of my wildlife sightings which now intend to share with you on this blog. There have been many trials and tribulations being a wildlife photographer and I will tell you some of my stories in the coming weeks.
Keep in touch,
Gordon

I assume this is live now? Welcome to the blogging world!
Looking forward to reading in particular about Islay, especially after meeting you back in June. But I’ll also read other wildlife and photography stories.
Love the header picture, a great view of Machir Bay! I stood in that area and enjoyed the view last summer.

Yes, the site update has now been completed with this new blog section.
Gordon has informed me that he will be adding some of his stories *very* soon and no doubt they will include some from his times on Islay.
Pleased you liked the picture of Machir Bay which is being used as the header on the site, I agree it is a great view.
